and has consequently encouraged the construction of modern marinas along its coastline.
Its many quiet bays and inlets makes it a cruising paradise.

Its fascinating history has left behind some many wonderful archeological sites along the coast, easily accessible by the cruising yachtsman.
Pergamon, Efesus, Miletus, Priene, Iassus, Didyma, Teos, Knidos, Phaesalis, Dalyan, Patara,  etc.
