Macinaggio is often the arrival port for boats sailing from the northern Italian waters and Porto Vecchio a pleasant stop further down the coast. Whereas Bonifacio is the port on the southern tip of Corsica and an unforgettable stop-over 
before the sail across the straits to Sardinia.
